SpottyTM Training Place

If you have a new puppy and dislike the idea of going outside in the middle of the night or on a cold, rainy day, you might want to consider the SpottyTM Training Place. This product can also be used for Spotty product imageolder dogs that perhaps have difficulty getting outside or using stairs, and for incontinent dogs that need to relieve themselves when you are not at home.

There’s a tray on the bottom, an absorbent pad, a separating grid that promotes airflow, and a top layer of “grass”, all of which provide a convenient spot for your dog to do his business. The key to the system is how the absorbent pads work: they turn urine into gel, and thus eliminate wet feet and the drippy mess. The manufacturer claims that odour is controlled for up to a week.

The SpottyTM Training Place can form an integral part of an approach to housebreaking. Use it while your puppy is young and has to eliminate frequently and then gradually use it less and less as the puppy learns to go outside and needs to eliminate less often.

The system comes with everything you need to get started, while the absorbent pads and replacement “grass” are available separately.
